Tongues

Pic: Gaelle Marcel

I harbour the taste of your tongue
Buds weighed down like the after-rain morn
The sweetness of your breath puffs my lungs
Shattering the seal of my sanity to permit me one more breath

Our words intertwined
When I speak you sound
Riddling my glands with your passion
Washing my walls with your wet canvass

I’ve been kissed before, never consumed
My eyes shut, never blinded
But your lips demand, they command
Folding, tucking, rousing and exploding my being
