Thank You.

So, R99,99 later, you now own a book with a tad bit yellow pages that does not even have my numbers in it; not that my numbers matter, but because, for a divine and appreciated reason, you decided to get a copy of HOME BEFORE FEBRUARY (#HBF), my sophomore book.

The knowledge that finally some of you hold in your hands my yellow-bone – a copy of #HBF, makes me want to “moon walk” on water, sparkling or still (someday, I promise to start writing things I also understand).

As you take #HBF with to your bedrooms, living rooms, toilets, Gautrain, Metrorail, workplaces, churches, on dates, in cars, in buses and to the sangoma, know that my appreciation accompanies you.

Thanks for letting it sit with you through an episode or two of Generations; through Lehlohonolo Majoro’s penalty miss; through WWE close-lines and tapouts; through unbelievable Ekasie Stories comedy (or not); through Lance Armstrong’s confession (or not); through Dr Malinga’s try; through Lesilo’s disappearing acts; through twars; through Facebook motivational posts; through subtweets… Thank you for making it a part of your day.

For a while, I can tell you what state of mind I was in when writing the accounts you now have ringing in your ear or are yet to familiarize yourself with as you page through the book, but then again, I realize that interpretation and meaning  largely grow with you the reader. Handle with care, yet dig in and engross yourself in the blanket I have attempted to sprawl before you.

Jim Rohn affirmed: “The book you don’t read won’t help.” And how does #HBF actually help when you read it? #HBF is your 365 days-a-year love card that will inspire and cause you to #LOVEbeyondFEBRUARY. For and beyond Valentine’s Day, a copy as a gift is a grand gesture where the celebrating of love is concerned.

Also, I appreciate you taking the time to read anything we’ve out under the hashtags #LOVEbeyondFEBRUARY, #HOMEBOFOREFEBRUARY & #HBF. Thank you for the status updates, mentions and retweets. Thank you for buying, reading, critiquing and recommending the book.
